What is your worship service like?

Our worship time at Cornerstone is a mix of both hymns and contemporary music led by our Praise Teams. After our worship set, the Word of God is taught in a way that can be applied to our daily lives.

What about my children?

If you have young children, from Birth to 5 years, we have a fantastic nursery where they can go and play and learn about God on their level while you worship in the main service. The nursery is located in the main hallway across from the Kitchen.

During our first service, our children’s CBF’s are in session for all chidren from birth to 18 years. During our second service, we offer a small time during the worship set where we give a Children’s Message. The children will hear about God and be given a small bag with a color page, colors, and a small piece of candy or toy to keep them occupied during the service. We know that keeping an eye on our kids can sometimes distract us from hearing what God might say so we strive to make a little easier for our parents.

What do we wear?

We want you to be comfortable. At Cornerstone you will find anything from jean and a t-shirt to a suit and tie. Our focus is more about what is on the inside than what you wear on the ouside.

Do you ask your visitors to stand up?

We know that when attending a new church, it can be very awkward, especially when you are asked to stand up so we can see you. Because of this, we don’t ask our visitors to stand, we simply welcome you and ask that you take a moment to fill out the connections card in the bulletin or here online.

What must I do to become a member?

Membership at Cornerstone is simple. First, you must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Secondly, you will need to talk to one of our elders and they will begin the process of helping you become a member.
